Wow... i heard this song in Sembawang yesterday... Sounded familiar... And it really hooked me! Thought i should share it with you guys... title is "two less lonely people in the world" by air supply! Oh yah, this band produces fantastic songs, like "all out of love", and "without you". So enjoy! :)

Went for some Energy Saving course at SP Services building yesterday together witrh the sec3 scouts. 2nd session. The first was last tuesday. The test was pretty hard(partly because i studied the wrong stuff). Hopefully i can scrape pass this hurdle... never mind, i'll extract one question for you guys to answer, and only ONE:

how do you calculate energy consumption? (in kWh)

ans: (no. of appliances x load factor x power rating x usage(hrs/day) x 30) / 1000

Ok, that was the very first question on the paper(i could have been more confident if i hadn't missed that out while studying though. Nevertheless, i got it correct(whewww!)

After the test, we took a short walk to Orchard. Junle wanted to get some suit for grad night, so we followed him to takashimaya. "We" refers to guodong(more affectionately known as guppy), peter, zzz-han-yi and yours truly. Damn, it was so posh! So much so that our uniforms looked very much out of place. We were a joke over there... zhanyi was having his usual nose problem while peter continued with his routine craps... junle left the place empty-handed... seemed that nothing interested him though... or maybe peter's persistent crapping hurried him off...

So next up, wisma atria... nothing interesting for US though... Through World of SPorts, Espirit, Isetan etc... we went... trying to kill time, without any items on minmd... haha btw we only had like 2 dollars with us(thanks to the combined hike the day before)... We left the place at around 12...

Next haunt, bishan Junction 8. this time without junle and zhanyi. raided Sembawang and royal sporting house. Peter and guppy trying to find new badminton rackets. Didnt get any in the end. AS ever, anti-climax... Went to scout HQ to crap with some "old" friend(actually he's the sales guy). He asked ciyi why he always sounded so dead when talking. ASked if he consumed ecstacy. lol. spent an hour and a half there doing nothing. oh ya, ciyi got some badges and certs for our troop.

at 2.30, we left for bishan library. pretty small. can't be compared to tampines librtary or woodlands though its new. got the liu yong book for the chinese assignment. haiz. darn... homework homework homework... what a hectic life

Hey guys! Back from Thailand! Great trip... love the weather there... so much cooler... it's as if the place was stuck in a perpetual air-con... Wish i could stay there longer, or even migrate there(erm..)... Life is very simple over there... the people are so friendly... the view so magnificent... the flora and fauna so vibrant & colourful... haiz... looking back, so many days have passed since MI 702 left S'pore... those 11 days seemed to have gone in a flash... haiz... how i miss the trip & those chalets!

For now, i guess its BACK TO HOMEWORK!

whow... 5D 4N of chalets, iiikay & 2k'05... iiikay one was very fun.. bet evryone agrees.. some of the stuff we did: bombed ben tan's car, night cycling from changi village to east coast, swimming in the sea(though not for long) etc. Time juz passed so quickly lar.. Monday afternoon juz had lunch wif kiwi, then wednesday pack bag go school for chiangrai meeting

2k chalet brought back lots of memories... zhan quan came.. hehe so long never meet liao... george tan joined us for steamboat on thurday night.. 12 bucks but i ate a lot, especially the mussles and clams... shiok!
